The show opened with "Hardcore" Mike More hitting the ring, accompanied by Friar MacBeth and his new business associate, Mean Machine. More had planned on kicking The Friar out of the Celtic Coalition Party, due to Friar missing MERRITT MOUNTAIN MADNESS to attend the pending birth of his baby daughter; but after the CCP defeated "Team Canada" in Enderby during the Canada Day Parade on July 1, More couldn't be happier. Correction: he'd be happier if he wasn't in Barriere. Instead of reprimanding The Friar, More decided to use his time to scoop the wrestling world and bring out the controversial J.J. Jetson. Fully expecting Jetson to continue on like he did in January (when he turned his back on his fellow Barriere brethren), More was shocked to see that Jetson had not only turned over a new leaf...but he didn't tolerate More's mouth one bit. But what disgusted Jetson even more was that a fellow Scotsman like Friar MacBeth would align himself with pathetic goons like Mike More and Mean Machine. With tensions mounting, More asked "Do you want to fight me, buddy?" When Jetson agreed, More introduced him to "me buddy" (Friar) and "me other buddy" (Machine), and the two sucker-punched Jetson and put the boots to him...only for Minion to make the save! ![]()

IMPROMPTU TAG TEAM MATCH: Minion's arrival at ringside was enough for Jetson to escape an attempted spike piledriver, backdropping Friar and hitting the ropes, causing Machine to crotch himself on the top turnbuckle. Minion tagged in and repeatedly rammed Friar's head into Machine's crotch, until both men hit the floor to regroup with More. After taking a beating from both Jetson and Minion, Machine and Friar were able to cut Minion off (after Machine chop-blocked the powerful youngster's left knee), and go to work: repeatedly distracting the rookie referee, Matt D, the duo pulled out every cheap trick in the book...and even Mike More snuck into the ring to interfere! Jetson got the hot tag and cleaned house, but things fell apart and all four men were brawling in the ring. Friar tossed Minion to the floor and teamed with Machine to crush Jetson with a double vertical suplex, but Minion kicked free of More's attempt to restrain him; back in the ring, Minion speared Machine in mid-suplex, allowing Jetson to surprise Friar with a small package for the victory. After the match, Machine and Friar got into a heated argument, with Friar shoving Machine to the canvas and angrily walking off...leaving More and Machine confused and frustrated with the entire situation.
Friar MacBeth & Mean Machine vs. J.J. Jetson & MinionYOUNG GUNS SHOWDOWN: Cutler was expecting a hard-fought contest based on mutual respect; what he got was Sebastian sporting a chip on his shoulder a mile long. Kyle didn't feel that Cutler was in his league, but was quickly embarrassed when Cutler pinned him in mere moments! As the crowd teased the cocky Sebastian, he demanded a rematch; Cutler agreed, and the two really tore it up inside the ring, with Sebastian securing the second fall. Tied at one fall apiece, Cutler suggested they prove who the better man was, right there and now; the jeering crowd goaded Sebastian into accepting, and the battle raged on. Both of these talented young men pulled out all the stops, with high-flying action and counter-wrestling that greatly impressed everyone in attendance. In the end, Cutler prevailed...but Sebastian vowed he would have revenge, one way or another!
Collin Cutler vs. Kyle SebastianFOR THE OKANAGAN-INTERIOR TITLE: Before the bell, Sugar commended Minion for his coming to Jetson's rescue at the start of the show; but he also chastised the youngster for not focussing on the chance at championship glory. He reminded Minion that despite the fact they were friends, Mad Dog was planning to do anything and everything in his power to walk out of Barriere as the first and only Okanagan-Interior Champion in history. The two men locked up and struggled for control, with the younger Minion displaying greater strength...so Sugar went for the left knee that had been damaged earlier in the evening by Friar MacBeth and Mean Machine. But Minion kicked free of a spinning toe-hold, and focussed on Sugar's back, grinding the champion down to the mat and nearly ending things with a rear-naked choke. Sugar fought back, but found himself trapped in a bear hug; unable to punch his way free, Mad Dog bit Minion's forehead...then caught the hard-charging challenger with a Hot-Shot across the top rope. From there, Sugar focussed on Minion's neck and throat, locking in The Muzzle (mandible claw) for apparent victory...but Minion powered up and looked to have Sugar trapped in the 616 (fireman's Falcon Arrow), only to have Sugar escape by raking the eyes and surprising Minion with a stunner for the pinfall victory. Post-match, the two shook hands, as the crowd cheered both men for their efforts.
"Mad Dog" Marty Sugar (CHAMPION) vs. MinionTHE MAIN EVENT As was expected, these two long-time rivals tore into each other with reckless abandon, fighting like wild animals to the crowds' delight. Back and forth the battle raged, with neither man able to attain a clear-cut advantage. Slave nearly won the match with a devastating superplex, but More was able to kick out and the war raged on. More regained control, only to see Slave fight back...when the referee was inadvertantly knocked out cold. After leveling Slave with a killer belly-to-belly overhead suplex, More realized the ref wasn't conscious to count three, so he waved for Mean Machine to hit the ring: the two men put the boots to Slave, until Friar MacBeth hit the ring and helped the OAPW Champion to his feet...only to shock everyone by clotheslining Slave right out of his boots! Three-on-one was too much for Slave, but that's when Jetson and Minion hit the ring to even the odds; with six men brawling out of control, OAPW Promoter, Don Andrews angrily demanded the match be ruled a No-Contest!
